Apuane Spa at Four Seasons Resort
Punta Mita, Riviera Nayarit
The name “Apuane” comes from the Huichol language, a word which describes a stream of water often used in the tribe’s healing and spiritual awakening rituals.
All Apuane Spa treatments use products which are completely natural with ingredients steeped in nutrient rich plants and the marine and mineral ecology of Mexico.
In addition to its numerous existing spa treatments, Apuane is also featuring new treatments like the “Hakali Signature Massage” named after the Huichol word for cactus.
The massage uses two of Mexico’s most ancient ingredients, “Nopal,” an extract from the young stem segments of prickly pear and “Pulque,” from the maguey plant to relax, detoxify and rejuvenate the skin’s appearance.
Apuane also features an exquisite Tamai Spa Garden which is a Zen garden connecting the resort’s Tamai Pool Complex and the spa.
Tai Chi and yoga classes are also available in the Tamai Spa Garden.
For a little bit of variety, guests can also opt for the “Spa After Dark” service which allows them to combine romantic gourmet dining and an exotic spa experience.
“Spa After Dark” choices include oceanfront massage in the outdoor massage hut with a beachfront picnic of finger foods; Tamai Pool Watsu massage with candlelit dinner in a pool cabana; or sweet-tooth themed body treatments in the guests’ suite followed by a tasty serving of chocolate fondue and champagne.
