From vegetarian meals made from fresh organic ingredients to hand-built private cabanas free of electricity, to a totally private exclusive beach, every part of Haramara Retreat is carefully designed to focus on refreshing and rejuvenating your personal wellness. There are also two strategically positioned Yoga Shalas on the property, allowing guests to take in panoramic and ever changing views of the mountains and vast Pacific Ocean.

Room Types

16 Cabanas (1, 2 or 3 guests)

Rustic yet luxurious cabanas are scattered throughout the property's hillside offering spectacular views of both the Pacific Ocean and jungle canopy. These individual hand-built cabanas are made of all natural materials and feature woven sheets, sheer curtains, oil lamps, candles, and private hammocks (in most cabanas). Each cabana has its own bathroom with hot water and open air shower. Note there is no electricity in cabanas.

1 Dormitory (Sleeps up to 8 guests)

The dormitory is a shared bedroom with all the same features of the cabanas but with individual beds for each guest. There are two bathrooms in the dormitory.

Yoga, spa sessions, and additional services not included in rates. Retreat rates include room, lunch, and dinner.

 

Dining Options

Enjoy delicious gourmet meals served in our spacious open-air palapa roofed restaurant overlooking the jungle and Pacific Ocean. Meals are tastefully prepared and served with beautiful and artistic presentations. Our wait staff is friendly, well trained, and attentive to your needs. 

 

At Haramara Retreat, good nutrition and well-balanced meals are an integral part of yoga, meditation, a good mind-body learning experience, and overall health and well-being.

All meals are vegetarian. Fish or seafood can be included. All ingredients are fresh, natural, and local. The daily menu is chosen by the chef based on the ingredients that are available that day. Special dietary needs and requests will gladly be accommodated.
