One of the newest and most ambitious undertakings of this tourist destination is the Riviera Nayarit Marina at La Cruz, which is located in a traditional fishing village, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. The marina is considered one of the largest on Mexico’s Pacific Coast, and since opening in late 2008, it has already hosted numerous world-class nautical events. The marina is equipped with everything necessary to offer visitors the luxuries and comforts of its facilities as well as the opportunity to explore and experience La Cruz, a small town with deeply rooted traditions. Finally, in the historic Port of San Blas, the Marina San Blas recently began operations, welcoming up to 17 vessels measuring between 12 and 40 feet long. The marina has integrated itself into the Sea of Cortez nautical corridor.

While in Riviera Nayarit, be sure to experience scenic sailing as you glide off into beautiful sunsets or raise the sails and travel to the offshore islands as you observe manta rays, tropical fish or even friendly dolphins along the way.
