OVER NIGHTS RIVIERA NAYARIT NORTH, ECO TOURISM AND CULTURE

1) We suggest to leave early to drive north the San Blas, a 02:30 hours drive, takes you to a nature and history Mecca and over night in this Spanish port built in 1768.

2) After checking in, for hotels www.rivieranayarit.com, San Blas has very virgin beaches and great surf breaks: Matanchen, Las Islitas, Stoners where you can spend the day at any of the sea side restaurants and get delighted with lunch with traditional Nayarit dishes: "pescado sarandeado," ceviche, aguachile paired with cold beers!

3) Two hours before sunset, take the boat ride at La Tovara. A national park where a wide variety of flora and fauna can be seen, the dawn is where you can bird watch more than 200 species!

5) After an early breakfast of the road to highway 15D souths to Tepic, continue the way surrounding the capital of the state until you reach Ixtlán del Rio to visit the "Los Toriles" archeological site. Stop for lunch in Ixtlan and do not forget to try "nieve de garrafa."

6) Continue north on highway 15d and at only 10 minutes north visit the colonial town of Jala, walk around its streets to gaze at the mystic image of a town that withholds time in its essence, cobbled stoned streets and old "casonas" that have engraved the stories of old Mexico.

7) Continue north to Santa Maria del Oro, over night suggested at the Santa María Resort http://www.santamariaresort.com/index.php that is located in this pristine lagoon on the crater of a volcano.

8) Wake up, enjoy the day, do not forget to try the famous "Chicharron de Pescado." And after lunch drive back to the south, this will be a 3 hour drive so we suggest to leave early.

ONE DAY RIVIERA NAYARIT SOUTH SHORE

1) Starting your day having breakfast in any of the front beach restaurants in Bucerias. After a good breakfast take the time to walk through the down town, tour around the flee market do not forget to see "El Callejon Del Beso."

2) Continue north through highway 200 to Sayulita, Riviera Nayarit´s "hippy chic" town where you can spend the day watching the surfers or even taking a surfing lesson. Hungry? Several options in town and great shopping to do!

3) Drive 5 minutes north to San Pancho (San Francisco) to enjoy one of Riviera Nayarit´s best sunset spots! Grab a cold beer at any of the beach restaurants.

ONE DAY RIVIERA NAYARIT SOUTH - CENTER SHORE

1) Nothing like starting your day with a great view of Marina Riviera Nayarit with the first meal of the day at the Yacht Club, Ikuai is the restaurant.

2) Highway 200 north to Bahía de Chacala, this small and beautiful bay where famous pirates like Morgan Darke hid waiting to raid the Spanish galleons full of merchandise en route from Manila to Acapulco.

3) Getting hungry? Drive south to Rincón de Guayabitos, turn left to Los Ayala and you will reach Vista Guayabitos with a great view and food! Rincón de Guayabitos is a very colorful town.

4) Head south back and turn in Lo de Marcos, another pristine beach where sunsets are great!

ONE DAY OF LAND ACTIVITIES IN RIVIERA NAYARIT

1) Starting your day having breakfast at your Resort what about heading north to enjoy a great day of pure action.
